This year’s World Communications Day keynote speaker was His Eminence Joseph W. Cardinal Tobin, Archbishop of Newark. Programming included a media panel discussion, “Fact or Fiction: Journalism’s Last Stand?,” with Ray Suarez, Howard Kurtz, Lauren Ashburn, and Antonio Mora. There was also an exclusive screening of Sacred, a new faith-based documentary. The DeSales Media Experience included a virtual reality tour, an interactive classroom, and an exhibit of diocesan relics. Kei-Landa, a Christian hip-hop artist, composed and performed an original song, “Fear Not,” for the conference. You can download it here.
